I went to Kukup with Patrick and our friends last weekend. For the benefit of those who have not heard of the place
(I have never heard of Kukup prior to the trip... Ya... Call me mountain tortise..), Kukup is a small fishing village located around 40km southwest of Johor Bahru. It is famous for its open-air seafood restaurants built on stilts over the water.
Day 1: On our way there...

The village..
(Click to enlarge)It's dinner time! Yummy... Fresh prawns!

What we caught..

Qiang and the fish...

Day 2: My first time visiting the Kelong

Everyone crowded together.. What are they looking at?

Jellyfish.. Reminds me of the cold dish...

Look at their faces! What did they saw?

Baby Shark! Uncle say this little shark has 200-300 teeth! Omg.. Don't pray pray...

Here's a horseshoe crab.. Uncle say in the olden days when children fall sick, the adults will let them take a look at this crab and the children will get well.. Amazing! Hmm... Does it really have healing power??

The seahorse...

Guess what's the name of this little fellow here? Hmm.. Did I heard you say crab? Well.. you're half correct! The answer is...
(drum roooolllll) It's a STUPID CRAB!!! Hahaha...
Poor crab.. Why do people call it stupid?? Coz uncle say this crab keeps its pincers to itself when it's being caught.. It doesn't try to attack you.. That's why.. Lolz..
Well.. Overall this trip was quite fun.. I get to experience and see alot of things which I never had before (typical Singaporean).. But it was quite boring at times... There's nothing else you can do except play mahjong, eat, drink and sleep.. I think I gain a few kg after the trip =..(
Anyway, exams are coming in less than a week's time.. So.. Won't be blogging soon I guess.. Feel free to drop me some best wishes for my exams.. Haha.. I need lots of good luck!!! =)
